This wine was produced with the intent to make a dry style, but as the weather shifted I listened to the wise words of Grant Taylor and “just followed the Riesling”. The Botrytis was impeccable, so the grower Tim Heyes, Grant and I broke this wine off into three, uniting my bond with the people of the Waitaki Valley forever.
